Celebrating 75 Years of the Church in Alexandria
We are planning several ways to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the church in Alexandria!

Service
Our first service project celebrating the Church's 75-year anniversary in the City of Alexandria will be held at 8 am on Saturday, June 1. We'll meet at the church building a little before 8 am and walk to Ivy Hill cemetery, where we'll trim ivy back from trees and do general clean up. Please use this link to sign up:
We have a long tradition of supporting local charitable organizations in Alexandria and surrounding communities. Join us throughout the year as we celebrate the relationships we have built over the years and give back to the community. We will continue to update this site as event details become available.

Legacy
The church in Alexandria was built and sustained by a legacy of faith. Members of the church community generously contributed of their time and means, making considerable sacrifices to not only build the building in which we meet, but also to build the spiritual foundations for those that have come after. We want to connect and hear your stories. To share your memories and stories please click below:

Cookbook
In 1999, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the church, members shared recipes and published the first Alexandria Ward Cookbook: "Gracious Gatherings." We plan on continuing this tradition. Recipe submissions will be open until the end of March. To contribute a recipe, please select the link below.
Cookbooks will be available to purchase at cost at 75th Anniversary Celebration.
